Job summary

Becton Dickinson is seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to drive growth in Continence Care across the North East and Yorkshire, with up to 80% travel. You will identify unmet needs, build a robust NHS-focused pipeline and deliver value through consultative, solution-based selling.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field-based NHS sales and winning new business.
• Experience building, managing and converting a sales funnel.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders within complex organisations.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and account planning skills.
• Excellent territory management, organisation and execution.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and forecasting.
• Healthcare/medical devices or complex B2B sales background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across NHS accounts.
• Create and deliver territory growth plans aligned with commercial priorities.
• Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers, influencers and stakeholders.
• Generate demand through prospecting, networking and purposeful customer engagement.
• Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline with sufficient coverage to meet objectives.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customers’ clinical, operational and commercial challenges.
• Present tailored solutions using consultative and value-based selling techniques.
• Maintain accurate CRM data on customers, opportunities, forecasting and activity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to overcome barriers and accelerate adoption.
• Deliver against weekly, monthly and quarterly sales priorities.
