Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to drive profitable growth across the Continence Care portfolio in the UK. You will identify NHS opportunities, build a robust pipeline and lead consultative, value-based selling with healthcare decision-makers.

This field-based role covers North East and Yorkshire, with up to 80% travel, and a strong emphasis on delivering patient and system value.

Qualifications

• Proven record of success in field-based NHS sales.
• Experience building, managing and converting a sales pipeline.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders within complex organisations.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and account planning.
• Excellent territory management, organisation and execution.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and forecasting.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or another complex B2B sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across target NHS accounts.
• Create and deliver territory growth plans aligned with commercial priorities.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare decision-makers, influencers and other key stakeholders.
• Generate demand through prospecting, networking and purposeful customer engagement.
• Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline with coverage to meet objectives.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customers’ clinical, operational and commercial challenges.
• Present tailored solutions using consultative and value-based selling techniques.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, forecasting and activity information in CRM.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to overcome barriers and accelerate adoption.
• Deliver against weekly, monthly and quarterly sales priorities.
