Qualifications

• Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
• Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.

• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Driving therapy and market development by supporting implanting centres and educating referring physicians on LVADs, short-term support.
• Developing and delivering Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
• Managing key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.
• Providing procedure support in Operating Theatres.
• Communicating Abbott's Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
• Collaborating with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
• Supporting cross-divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
• Delivering implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintaining strong referral networks.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Join Abbott's innovative Heart Failure (HF) business, where we are committed to transforming patient outcomes through cutting-edge cardiovascular technologies. We are seeking a passionate and driven commercial professional to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio specifically the Heartmate 3 LVAD, a mechanical circulatory support pump for advanced heart failure. The Territory Manager will cover the key transplant centres of Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. Ideal location: Manchester / Leeds.

What you'll do

In this field-based role covering the North UK region, you will support Abbott's Heart Failure portfolio, supporting Chronic MCS (LVAD). You focus will be to drive market adoption and therapy penetration, maximising customer engagement across implanting centres and referral networks. Utilising technical, clinical, educational, and commercial support to ensure safe adoption, to deliver market growth.
