Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to cover the Central Region (Northampton & Leicester) with a £28,000–£32,000 basic plus bonus/commission and a company vehicle. This field-based role focuses on identifying new customers, opening doors and building a robust sales pipeline in a growing materials handling business.

Qualifications

• Strong new-business mindset and ability to meet customers in field-based roles.
• Experience in field sales or customer-facing B2B environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Central region.
• Proactively prospect through customer visits, cold calling, networking, referrals and local market research.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and identify opportunities for additional hire, sales, service and parts.
• Visit prospective customers and generate new sales opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations.
• Develop smaller opportunities through to agreement.
• Qualify larger opportunities and hand them over to the wider sales team for development and closure.
• Maintain accurate records of activity, prospects, and opportunities on the CRM.
• Plan and manage your territory effectively to maximise new business opportunities.
• Monitor market activity and identify new sectors and potential customers.
