Job summary

Probus Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a UK specialist in control valves and flow-control solutions. The Field Sales Engineer will cover the North and Midlands, selling engineered valve solutions to power, process and industrial markets and working to grow the territory.

The role involves engaging with engineers and procurement, developing opportunities from enquiry to order, and building long-term relationships with technical customers across demanding applications.

Qualifications

• Control valves and engineered valve solutions experience in power or process industries.
• Able to discuss valve applications with engineers and understand customer requirements beyond price.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of customers.
• Identify and win new business across the territory.
• Sell control valves and associated flow-control solutions.
• Develop opportunities within power generation and process industries.
• Work with customers to understand pressure, temperature, flow, media and application requirements.
• Produce quotations and develop technically and commercially appropriate solutions.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry to order.
• Build relationships with end users, EPCs, contractors, OEMs and service organisations.
• Attend customer sites, exhibitions and industry events.
