Job summary

Dedworth Green First School is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term basis from 05/10/2026 to 31/08/2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, supporting children with learning and development.

You will promote inclusive practices, maintain a calm learning environment, and lead structured small group activities. Candidates should have Maths and English GCSE and the ability to support pupils with disabilities and communication needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and GCSE Maths and English.
• Promote inclusion and equal access to learning.
• Ability to lead small structured group activities with safe learning.
• Support a named child with an EHCP when required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
