Job summary

Curledge Street Academy is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND and help them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. The role is term-time, permanent, with hours 8.40–3.25, Monday to Friday, working under the guidance of the teacher and within The Reef inclusion base.

• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive practice.
• Ability to build positive relationships and support learning, wellbeing and personal care when required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups to develop confidence and skills.
• Deliver tailored learning activities aligned with curriculum and SEND goals.
• Work within The Reef provision and across Early Years to KS2 as needed.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to monitor progress.
