Job summary

Curledge Street Academy is seeking a caring SEND Learning Support Assistant to help children gain confidence, independence and a love of learning. You will work with teachers and the SENDCO to provide targeted support from Early Years to Key Stage Two, including within The Reef for communication needs.

The role requires patience, adaptability and a commitment to inclusive practices, supporting learning, wellbeing and personal care where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs.
• Ability to deliver tailored learning activities for diverse learners.
• Willingness to work with Early Years to Key Stage 2 pupils and within The Reef provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group support to pupils.
• Deliver tailored learning activities and monitor progress.
• Support pupils with personal care needs and wellbeing where required.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to plan and implement support.
