Job summary

Curledge Street Academy is seeking enthusiastic childcare professionals to join as Bank Staff in a term-time role supporting pupils. You will be employed as a SEND Learning Support Assistant with potential progression to a permanent position.

The team covers sickness, holidays and other absences, with opportunities across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Early Years or SEN Provision. Hours run 8:40–15:25, Monday to Friday, subject to availability.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 childcare qualification (desirable).
• Previous experience in a nursery or school setting.
• Flexible and reliable approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during term time as a Bank Staff member.
• Cover staffing needs during sickness, holidays and other absences.
• Possible placement across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Early Years or SEN Provision (The Reef).
• Hours are 8:40–15:25, Monday to Friday, depending on availability.
