Job summary

The Manchester College, part of the LTE Group, is recruiting a SEND Support Practitioner for its City Campus Manchester. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week, term-time only) focuses on supporting adult students with Dyslexia/SpLD, working with Exam Access Arrangements and wider support services.

You will provide 1:1 and small group assistance, help develop study strategies, and build learner confidence. Strong English skills and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Learning Support qualification (or willingness to achieve).
• Level 2 English and Maths required.
• Dyslexia SEND Support Practitioners require Level 3 qualification in Learners with Dyslexia.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and 1:1 support to students outside the classroom.
• Support learners in Study Hubs and independent spaces.
• Develop study strategies, organisation skills and confidence.
