Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd seeks a Student Support Specialist to assist learners with SEND in Greater Manchester FE and sixth-form settings. You will provide one-to-one and small-group literacy and numeracy support, deliver targeted interventions, adapt materials, and work with staff to help learners achieve EHCP outcomes.

This role focuses on improving learner outcomes, confidence, and independent living skills, with ongoing training and opportunities for career development in education and SEND

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in educational settings.
• Ability to adapt materials to meet individual learner needs.
• Strong literacy and numeracy delivery knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support in English and numeracy.
• Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing, spelling, and maths.
• Support learners in developing Functional Skills and employability skills.
• Monitor learner progress and give feedback to teaching staff.
• Collaborate with lecturers, SEND teams, and support professionals.
