Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals for students during term time. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends and 38 weeks per year. You will lead food preparation, safety compliance, and client liaison in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Understand health and safety and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets health, food safety and environmental regs.
• Enhance Caterlink's reputation through excellent food and service.
• Run day-to-day operations, supervise teams, manage inventories and budgets.
• Be main client contact in school, implementing improvements.
• Regularly communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Support and train teams, ensure training is completed and performance is managed.
