Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is recruiting a Relief General Kitchen Assistant for West Park Primary School. You will assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, ensuring a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.

Hours are term time, 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday. A Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate and an Enhanced DBS check are required; training will be provided if needed to help you obtain the certificate.

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• DBS check required; Enhanced DBS (Children) withadult risk checks may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Maintain a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs; operate touch screen terminal in some schools (training provided).
