Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Relief General Kitchen Assistant for St Roberts Primary School. The role covers preparation, presentation and service of school meals in term-time, across multiple schools within the county borough.

Hours are 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday, with training provided for a touch screen terminal and DBS clearance is required. The post is paid at £13.45 per hour and is suitable for flexible, on-call cover across schools.

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Training will be provided to obtain certificate if needed.
• Willingness to cover across multiple schools within the county borough.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Maintain a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.
• Set up dining tables and chairs and, where required, operate a touch screen terminal.
