Job summary

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Catering Services is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant Grade 2 to support Ysgol Cambrian in a term-time only, 13.75 hours per week role. The position pays £13.49 per hour and runs 9:00 am–2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, in a fast-paced school kitchen.

The successful candidate will have food safety Level 2, be dedicated and reliable, and able to follow instructions while maintaining hygiene and safety standards in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Food safety Level 2 certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Must be dedicated and reliable.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Duties will include different elements of food preparation and food serving, as well as washing up and cleaning in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
