Job summary

Deeplish Primary Academy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our experienced kitchen team. The role is 20 hours per week for 38.8 weeks per year (Term Time Only + 4 days). Salary range £25,614 - £26,016 (FTE) and will be pro-rata for the part-time pattern.

The successful candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a skilled team in an organised, disciplined environment. Background checks including DBS apply.

Qualifications

• Performs a variety of manual tasks in food production and service.
• Follows legal and Focus-Trust catering requirements to ensure safe, hygienic meals.
• Safeguarding duties and DBS checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an experienced kitchen team within an organised environment.
• Assist with meal preparation and food service as required.
