Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Catering Assistant at Alderman Knight Primary School in Tewkesbury. The role is term-time only with 16 hours per week across Monday to Friday and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

This position supports food production and service in our schools while maintaining high health and safety standards. You'll work in a friendly, busy school kitchen, helping to prepare tasty meals, keep areas clean, and provide efficient service to pupils

Qualifications

• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year
• An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role
• Blended learning programme including apprenticeships, classroom training, eLearning and on the job training

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
