Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking a Catering Assistant for Deeplish Primary Academy. The role is part-time (20 hours per week, 38.8 weeks per year, term time only plus 4 days) with a salary range of £25,614–£26,016 full-time equivalent, pro-rated for the working pattern.

The successful candidate will join an experienced kitchen team, working in a structured environment, and will be required to meet safeguarding and DBS checks as part of the Trust’s procedures.

Qualifications

• Committed to working in a busy catering environment with attention to hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of manual tasks related to food production and service in the catering unit.
• Ensures meals are prepared to high standards in a safe, hygienic and timely manner.
