Job summary

St. Andrew’s School seeks a proactive Domestic Supervisor to lead the cleaning team, ensuring a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff. You will coordinate rotas, monitor standards, and manage supplies, with COSHH and health & safety compliance at the fore.

Part-time, term-time role (30 hours/week) with extra weeks for August deep clean and Holiday Club coverage. Reporting to the School Business Manager, you’ll contribute to a well-run, welcoming school setting in Rochester.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to coordinate rotas, workloads and keep high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Domestic Assistants and organise daily workloads.
• Monitor cleaning standards across Main School and Pre-School.
• Manage cleaning rotas for events, Holiday Club and summer deep clean.
• Oversee stock levels and orders with suppliers for value for money.
• Maintain COSHH records and monthly checks; ensure safe use of equipment.
