Essex County Council is seeking a punctual School Crossing Patrol Officer for St Peters CE Primary School in Brentwood. The role is term-time, permanent, and based at the site with 7.5 hours per week split between morning and afternoon sessions.

Shifts are approximately 08:15–09:00 and 14:45–15:30, 39 weeks per year, with uniform, equipment and training provided. A holiday pay element is included; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Aufgaben

• Support schools in the morning and afternoon, ensuring safe crossing for pedestrians.
• Maintain regular contact with the school and assess crossing site risks.
• Assist in preparing reports on incidents at the crossing site.
• Ensure uniform and equipment are maintained and replaced when needed.
• Give clear signals to drivers and manage traffic flow at the crossing.
