Job summary

OFG Education is seeking an experienced Domestic Cleaner for Smallbrook School to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time with some holiday coverage; flexibility discussed at interview.

You will clean classrooms and communal areas, follow health and safety procedures and work with the facilities team to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Has previous school cleaning experience - essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• Reliable, organised and able to manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices and communal areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising and waste disposal.
• Ensure spaces are clean, hygienic, welcoming and ready for use by students and staff.
• Follow cleaning schedules and Health & Safety procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and appropriately.
• Help maintain a healthy and safe environment for children and young people.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns promptly.
• Work with the wider facilities team to sustain high standards.
