Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Smallbrook School in Shropshire is seeking an experienced Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly team. The role covers cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas to create a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time with some holiday period shifts; driving licence essential; flexible hours discussed at interview; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in school cleaning is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, communal areas and other allocated spaces.
• Carry out daily cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising and waste disposal.
• Ensure school spaces are clean, hygienic, welcoming and ready for students and colleagues to use.
• Follow cleaning schedules and Health & Safety procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and appropriately.
• Help maintain a healthy and safe environment for children and young people.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards or safeguarding concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with the wider school and facilities team to maintain high standards.
