Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager at St Mary's C of E Primary to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals. The role is term-time only with no weekends, based at the school in Chiddingfold Road, Godalming area.

You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, manage day-to-day site operations, supervise teams, control inventories and budgets, and act as the main point of contact for the client.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering is desirable.
• Food safety awareness and HACCP principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations at the location.
• Manage day-to-day running of the site, including inventories and budgets.
• Lead and train teams, supervise staff, and drive service quality to exceed client expectations.
• Be the main point of contact for the school client and implement improvements.
