Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager at St Christopher’s Primary School, Red Lodge, to deliver nutritionally balanced and tasty meals during term-time.

The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, at £14 per hour. You will oversee kitchen operations, food safety, and client satisfaction, reporting to the school and Caterlink.

This position offers flexibility with weekends off and a focus on staff development and high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering in education sector preferred.
• An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• To ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance.
• Manage day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams.
• Be main contact for client at the school; monitor KPIs and budgets.
• Train and develop teams and manage performance.
