Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Yavneh College, Borehamwood to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals for pupils and staff. This term-time role is 37.5 hours per week, with no weekend work, and pays £21.00 per hour.

You will ensure food safety and health and safety procedures are followed, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and support your line manager in daily operations at the college site.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen and school catering.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to work in a busy, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present nutritionally balanced meals to client standards.
• Follow Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures and complete paperwork.
• Maintain quality, portion control and cost monitoring.
• Support location operations including inventory management.
