Job summary

Caterlink is seeking an Assistant Chef at Harrow College in Harrow Weald to ensure nutritionally balanced meals for students.

You will assist with planning, preparing and cooking under high standards of food safety and service, while maintaining a positive customer experience and efficient operations. This is a term-time, 35-hour-per-week role with DBS checks and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proof of Level 2 Food Safety in Catering is required.
• Level 2 Health and Safety qualification or equivalent training is required.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, allergen management and cross-contamination prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparing and cooking of meals to required standard.
• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service details.
• Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied at all times.
• Carry out company bookwork as part of daily duties.
