Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Yavneh College in Borehamwood to prepare, cook and present nutritionally balanced meals for pupils and staff. The role is term-time only with 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, at £21.00 per hour.

You will follow Caterlink and client standards, ensure food safety, and support site operations including inventory and budget management. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
