Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Matthew Boulton, Birmingham. This term-time only role offers 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday across 40 weeks per year, with a salary up to £28,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will prepare, cook and present nutritious meals to high standards for pupils and staff in a school setting. As part of Caterlink’s team, you will follow all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, complete required paperwork accurately and help manage inventories and budgets

Qualifications

• Experience in professional food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to work to high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• Support line manager with day-to-day running including inventories, budgets and action plans.
