Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Manager at Looe Primary School in Looe to work term-time only, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week. The role pays £13.85 per hour and runs for 46 weeks per year.

You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance, and manage day-to-day operations, inventories and budgets while leading and training the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensure location meets Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• Ensure the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced and expectations are exceeded
• Oversee day-to-day running of the location and supervise teams including inventories, budgets, and action plans
• Be main point of contact for the client in the school and implement regular adjustments and improvements
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager to ensure targets are achieved
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training is completed and performance is managed
