Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Manager for Looe Primary School in Looe to provide nutritionally balanced, tasty meals during term time. The role operates 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 46 weeks per year, with no weekend work, offering flexibility.

You will lead kitchen operations, supervise staff, manage inventories and budgets, and act as the main point of contact for the client to drive continuous improvements and uphold Caterlink's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance at the location
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for quality food and service with client and customers
• Oversee day-to-day location running and supervise teams including inventories and budgets
• Be the main client contact in school and drive improvements and adjustments
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
• Support and train teams, lead from the front to ensure training completion and performance management
