The role of Catering Assistant supports our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivers excellent lunchtime service to keep the rush smooth. You will handle tills, offer friendly service, and help maintain high standards within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Team player and thrive in a busy team.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service (full training provided).
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite customer service to students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and meeting Health and Safety compliance.
