Job summary

Thinking Schools Academy Trust is seeking a Catering Assistant for Lodestar Academy in Torquay during term-time. You will work under the Catering Manager as part of a team delivering nutritious meals to students, promoting healthy eating.

You will assist with preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages, and ensure the kitchen remains hygienic. Duties include food prep, serving meals, and general kitchen and cleaning tasks in line with health, safety and food hygiene requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and kitchen hygiene preferred.
• Ability to assist with food preparation, cooking and serving.
• Willingness to work during term-time and support healthy eating initiatives.
