The Lodestar Academy in Torquay is seeking a Catering Assistant for a term-time role. You will join the catering team, assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and beverages for students, while helping to maintain a hygienic kitchen.

The role includes supporting the Catering Manager and adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards, with responsibilities across kitchen duties, food preparation and general cleaning to ensure smooth daily operation.

ThinkingFood are seeking a Catering Assistant to join their team based at LodestarAcademy in Torquay. The successful candidate will be accountable tothe Catering Manager working as part of the team providing nutritious andbalanced meals to our students, whilst promoting healthy eating.

TheCatering Assistant will assist the team in the preparation, cooking and servingof food & beverages and to ensure that kitchen is kept in a hygieniccondition. This will include preparation of food, serving of meals,general kitchen and cleaning duties as directed ensuring the smooth running ofthe kitchen in compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygienerequirements.
