Job summary

Norse Transport Division is seeking an experienced Minibus Driver for our Kings Lynn depot. You will transport vulnerable children and adults with a Passenger Assistant, delivering a caring tailored service and ensuring safe journeys.

The role requires a full, clean D1 entitlement licence and physical capability for occasional lifting. This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week, with AM/PM school runs during term-time.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
• Experience driving passenger-carrying vehicles.
• Good geographical knowledge of local area.

Responsibilities

Job description

Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to work at our Depot based in Kings Lynn. You will work alongside the Passenger Assistant to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey., As the Minibus Driver you will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting our vulnerable children and adults in their journey. This is an essential service we operate across Norfolk. You will have hands on experience building relationships with our clients providing a caring tailored service to the local community. This can be a physical role as you will sometimes be required to carry out physical tasks such as lifting wheelchairs or securing items in the vehicle using ratchet straps. This position is offering 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday working both AM & PM school runs during term-time. Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
