Job summary

Norse Transport Division seeks an experienced Passenger Assistant at our Norwich depot. You will work with the Minibus Driver to transport vulnerable children and adults, supporting wellbeing and providing a caring tailored service on each journey.

This fixed-term contract is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering AM and PM school runs. The role is physical, requiring lifting of wheelchairs and securing loads, with training and development opportunities offered.

• Previous experience in care-based role.

Responsibilities

• Transport vulnerable children and adults to and from destinations with the Minibus Driver.
• Support wellbeing and provide a caring tailored service on each journey.
• Build relationships with clients and local community to support journeys.
• Assist with securement and loading as required (physical role).
• Contribute to safe, reliable and compassionate transport operations.

Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Passenger Assistant to work in at our depot based in Norwich. You will work alongside the Minibus Driver to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey., As the Passenger Assistant you will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting our vulnerable children and adults in their journey. This is an essential service we operate across Norfolk. You will have hands on experience building relationships with our clients providing a caring tailored service to the local community. This is a physical role as you will often be required to lift wheelchairs and use ratchet straps to secure items in the minibus.

  This position is being offered on a Fixed Term Contract offering 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday working both the AM & PM school runs., Alongside a fantastic opportunity to join an excellent rewarding working team we offer:
