Job summary

Norse Transport Division in Great Yarmouth is seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to join our depot. You will transport vulnerable children and adults, working with a Passenger Assistant to ensure wellbeing and a tailored caring service on school runs during term-time.

The role requires a full, clean D1 entitlement and offers 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with both AM and PM shifts. An enhanced DBS check is required and benefits include leave and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
• Experience driving passenger-carrying vehicles.
• Ability to secure items and assist with wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Transport vulnerable children and adults to and from destinations.

Job description

Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to work at our Depot based in Great Yarmouth. You will work alongside the Passenger Assistant to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey., As the Minibus Driver you will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting our vulnerable children and adults in their journey. This is an essential service we operate across Norfolk. You will have hands on experience building relationships with our clients providing a caring tailored service to the local community. This can be a physical role as you will sometimes be required to carry out physical tasks such as lifting wheelchairs or securing items in the vehicle using ratchet straps. This position is offering 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday working both AM & PM school runs during term-time. Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
