Job summary

The Connaught is seeking an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a Reading nursery on a term-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 6.15pm, aligning with school holidays for a healthy work-life balance.

You will provide high-quality care and education, plan indoor and outdoor activities in line with EYFS, and support children's progress in a warm, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development within EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support indoor and outdoor activities that encourage curiosity and development.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress to support next learning steps.
• Promote children's personal, social and emotional development in a nurturing environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery space with open-ended play areas.
• Work as part of a supportive team to deliver high standards of early years practice.
