Askham Bryan College in Middlesbrough is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to provide additional learning support and individual assistance for students with high needs and SEND, enabling an inclusive college experience and helping learners to progress.

This is a 37-hour role, offered on a part-year, permanent basis with a salary of £24,768 per annum (pro rata). The college offers generous holiday pay, a Local Government Pension Scheme, free parking and a wide range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND and SEN.
• Ability to provide additional learning support and promote inclusive environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support and individual assistance for students with high needs.
• Cover general classroom support and mat cover as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to enable inclusive learning.
