Job summary

Falkirk Council is inviting applications for a Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) to support the Maddiston Primary School Decant and ensure continuity for pupils. You will supervise children during transport to and from the school and at lunchtimes.

The post is 8.75 hours per week, term-time, Monday to Friday 11.45am to 1.30pm. It is temporary until June 2027, and PVG membership costs will be met by the employer. A positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being during transport to and from Maddiston Primary School.
• Supervise P1-3 during lunchtime.
• Escort children to and from Maddiston Community Centre.
