Gatton VA Primary School invites applications for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The post is full-time, term-time only, 36 hours per week (8.00am–4.00pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch). Start date is 4 January 2027.

The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning, provide regular PPA cover, and contribute to a nurturing school ethos. Applicants should promote safeguarding, have experience leading a class, and possess strong knowledge of the National Curriculum

Qualificações

• Takes responsibility for safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Experience of leading a class.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Hardworking, dedicated practitioner with motivation to support achievement and development.
• Commitment to personal and professional development; able to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups under supervision.
• Provide regular PPA cover and other class cover as needed when teachers are absent.
