Job summary

St. Catherine's Catholic School in London is seeking a Design Technology Technician to join a small, supportive DT team. You will provide high quality technical support for teaching and learning across the department, organising resources and equipment for lessons.

The role is term time only (39 weeks incl. INSET) with a 8:00–16:00 schedule, Monday to Friday, and requires enthusiasm, creativity and reliability to help students achieve outstanding progress across all key stages.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support for Design Technology rooms and teaching activities.
• Organisational skills to manage tools, equipment and resources.
• Able to work as part of a small DT team and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality technical support for DT teaching and learning across all key stages.
• Set up and maintain DT resources, equipment and workshop safety.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and demonstration of practical tasks.
• Support students in practical activities and project work.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the DT department.
