Job summary

West College Scotland is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join the Estates Department in Paisley. The role is 16 hours x 40 weeks (term time) with pro rata salary of £25,501 to £25,967 per annum.

You will work under the Team Leader Operations to deliver a consistent cleaning service and maintain high hygiene standards across College buildings, using the specified equipment and products, and communicating effectively with staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning non-domestic environments.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces, furnishings and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across College buildings.
