Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a School Cleaner for North West Community Campus on a term-time schedule. You will work 10 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with shifts from 3.30pm to 6.24pm, helping maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff. Full training is provided and PVG checks may be required.

The role offers term-time hours, a structured training plan, and access to local government pension benefits, plus wellbeing and cycling support through the council.

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Supporting service improvements through Find it Clean, Keep it Clean ethos
• Working independently with support from the wider team
