Caterlink is recruiting a Chef Manager for a South Ascot primary school role. It is term-time only (38 weeks) with no weekends, offering 25 hours per week at £13.52 per hour. You will manage the site, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety and food safety standards.

You will lead operations day-to-day, liaising with the client to meet KPIs, monitor budgets, and drive service excellence while fostering an inclusive, supportive team environment.

Competenze

• NVQ level 2 is preferred but not essential.
• Experience supervising catering teams.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.

Mansioni

• Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• Ensure the location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental regulations.
• Be responsible for day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, inventories and budgets.
• Act as main client contact in the school, implementing improvements and adjustments.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training is completed and performance is managed.
