Job summary

The Littlehampton Academy, Littlehampton welcomes applications for a Chef Manager to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals for pupils and staff. The role is term-time only with no weekend work, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Key details include 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and 39 weeks per year. You will lead the kitchen team, manage inventory and budgets, and uphold health, safety and food safety standards to protect client expectations.

Qualifications

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation.
• Uphold Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with client and customers.
• Oversee day-to-day running of location and supervise teams, inventories, budgets, and action plans.
• Be main client contact in school, implementing improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager.
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training and performance management.

Responsibilities
