Caterlink is recruiting a Chef Manager at Somersham Primary School in Somersham. The role is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, with 30 hours per week and a pay rate of £14.00 per hour.

The position supervises site teams and oversees budgets and food service standards. In this role you will ensure adherence to health, food safety and environmental regulations, maintain Caterlink’s high standards of food and service, and act as the main client contact within the school, driving improvements and

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations are met.
• Uphold Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service.
• Manage day-to-day location operations, supervise teams, inventories, budgets, and action plans.
• Be main client contact at the school; implement improvements and adjustments.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager.
• Train and support teams; ensure training is completed and performance managed.
