Job summary

The Bishop of Winchester Academy is seeking a proactive Catering Supervisor to join our busy catering team. The role is 35 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 Weeks (41 weeks per year), with shifts Monday to Thursday 7:30 am–3:15 pm and Friday 7:30 am–2:00 pm.

You should have kitchen experience, be deadline-driven, and possess excellent customer service skills. Training in food hygiene will be provided, and you will support stock orders and tills alongside the Catering Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Willing to train in food hygiene if not already trained.
• Ability to operate tills and manage stock orders.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and Health & Safety.
• Prepare and maintain cleanliness and efficiency of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Assist the Catering Manager with food preparation and deputise when required.
• Collect and fulfil food orders for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Assist with service of meals and operation of tills.
