Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Catering Assistant at Bishops Cleeve Primary School in the United Kingdom. The role is term-time only and 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will assist in food production and service, follow health and safety standards, keep areas clean, provide friendly service, and help uphold Caterlink’s brand image. DBS disclosure will be obtained, and a blended learning programme may be available.

Qualifications

• Term-time only role with 38 weeks per year
• Enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role
• Willing to work in a school catering environment and service area

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
