Job summary

You will lead a catering team, ensure high standards of food safety, manage stock and deliveries, and provide friendly, reliable service to pupils and staff.

The role offers family‑friendly hours, Monday to Friday, with some cleaning days during school closures, and the chance to make a real difference

Qualifications

• Understanding of food service and catering operations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing stock and controlling costs.
• Supervisor or Team Leader experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food safety.
• Prepare, cook and serve food in line with menus and plans.
• Supervise catering team members and support their development.
• Order food, manage deliveries and stock levels.
• Maintain records and stock control systems.
• Create a welcoming dining experience for pupils and staff.
