Job summary

Brighouse High School is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the school’s catering services. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day operations in one of our school kitchens, contribute to menu development, food ordering and preparation, and supervise a small team.

The role is 37 hours per week, term-time only plus training days and a cleaning day, with a Grade APT&C Scale 4-5, points 7-17.

Qualifications

• Experience of running catering in a busy operation.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate catering staff.
• Competent with computerised ordering and records.
• Must have Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day catering operations in one school kitchen.
• Develop menus, place food orders and oversee preparation.
• Organise staff and manage service for busy school meals.
